You can love it or hate it, but you definitely can’t ignore it. Filmmaker, producer, animator, judge by profession – Karan Johar has been quite versatile in his career. He also tried his hand at acting, which didn’t go over very well, and as a result, he took a step back. But there is one thing that has been constant in his life throughout his life and that is the ruthless trolls. Scroll below for his response to them.
Time and time again, KJo is targeted for several reasons. For starters, many call him the standard-bearer of nepotism, including actress Kangana Ranaut. So whenever he casts a child star, we know trolls are bound to happen. There have also been mean comments about his personal life, particularly his sexuality.
Karan Johar recently had an interaction with Janice Sequeira, where he talked about how he deals with social media trolls. For starters, he said he doesn’t look at negativity and believes in using his platforms to connect with the outside world. He also revealed that he skims through the comments section but only focuses on hearts.
But not that, Karan Johar said he knows he gets trolled a lot but “he doesn’t care”. The Takht director added, “Commenting on my sexuality, commenting on who they think I am, you know, I’m turning 50 in May and I’m so thankful for so much.”
KJo also had a message for the public and it’s just not to ignore it. “Love me, hate me for heaven’s sake, don’t be indifferent to me because it’s something that could kill me. Indifference is something I can bear,” he concluded.
It was quite a heart to heart by Karan Johar. Was not it?
