Subscription Boxes! February Loot Crate

I get a lot of different type of subscription boxes and my husband asked me one day if there was a subscription box he would like.  Yes there is, Honey, yes there is.  Loot Crate is a monthly geek and gamer swag subscription box.  Each month they send 6 to 8 items for $13.37 plus $6 shipping and handling.  So really it is $19.97 a month.

February’s theme was “Doctor” and we received:

  • GraphicLab TARDIS Prime Shirt
  • Epic Scents Mega Man Air Freshener
  • Harcos Lab Caffeinated Brain Bits
  • Loot Crate Labs Sharks Drink Cooler
  • J&D Bacon Lip Balm
  • Walls360 Tetris Wall Heart

I thought this box was a lot of fun!  We received such a fun mix of items and my husband (who is notoriously hard to impress) really enjoyed it.

We really got a kick out these three items.  Who doesn’t like Laser Sharks (a la Dr. Evil from Austin Powers)?  My husband also likes the Mega Man air freshener and it actually smells really nice.  Lastly, the Tetris heart is a nice quality reusable sticker.  It currently resides on a laptop case.

I was too scared to try the Bacon lip balm…so we gave it to a friend!  The brain bits are fun.  We gave them to a math professor friend for his birthday.

This was our absolutely favorite item!  The shirt is really soft and the design is awesome!  My husband has gotten a lot of comments on it from his friends.  The coup de grace was the Dr. Who bowtie on Optimus Prime.  Plus this is an exclusive, so he isn’t likely to run into someone else who has the same tshirt.

Loot Crate is obviously lovingly curated by geeks for geeks.  The items are fun, cheeky, and perfect for geeks and gamers.  We can’t wait to see what next month box holds!
