My kids and I love playing age appropriate learning games together.  I love games that can include even the youngest member of our family.  Hello Sunshine does just that.  It is designed for ages 18 months to 3 years old but my 5 year old really enjoys it to.  It’s fun and can be a really silly and active way to play.  It combines two things that toddlers really love, which is plush toys and hide and seek.

Hello 1820 HiResSpill Hello Sunshine! toddler fun game

We have had Hello Sunshine! for weeks now, and my kids still come back to it every day.  They want to hide “Mr. Sun”, as my kids call the sunshine.  The first time my kids played the game, they caught on quickly and got energized with trying to hide the sunshine in all the places on the cards.  It was hard getting them to take turns because the boys each want to do all the hiding and my 22 month old wants to do all the finding.  My 3 year old and 5 year old both figured out what the cards said by the pictures.  All the cards have colorful pictures the depicts where the sunshine should be hiding/has been hidden.  A really nice feature is that the cards can all be stored in a little patch on the bottom of the plush sunshine.

The game builds confidence, motor skills, and positional concepts.  It promotes active plays and gets kids on their feet and moving around.  It created lots of laughs and good fun for us.

BUY IT: You can buy Hello Sunshine! for the MSRP of $19.99.  You can buy the game from ThinkFun or from Amazon.com.
