I received my third Bluum Box recently and I was pretty happy with it again. Bluum Box is geared for moms and babies up to 12 months. My daughter is 2 1/2, but I figured some of the items she can use and the rest we can regift.
WHAT IS IT?
Bluum is a monthly subscription box for baby and mother samples. It costs $14.95 a month, but you can earn points by reviewing the products in your box and work towards a free month. You also get a month free if someone signs up under your referral.
WHAT’D I GET?
The theme was: Bundle Up. “With winter fast approaching, stay warm and cozy this holiday season.”
Included in my box was:
- mOmma Teether
- Babybug Magazine
- Numi Organic Tea samples
- Madhava Organic Agave Nectar
- Bonus: Caldrea Sweet Pea Stain Remover
A Montagne Jeunesse Mud Mask was supposed to be included, but apparently didn’t make it in time due to Hurricane Sandy. It is going to be included in the December box instead.
LOVE this! I *almost* wish Kaylee was teething still so she could use this!
I like tea and Numi is a great brand, so I was happy to receive these.
These are pretty small samples, but I am interested to try them.
WHAT’D I THINK?
I thought this month was pretty good! I love the teether. Seriously – so cute. My best friend just announced her first pregnancy, so I’ll be saving it for her baby shower. I also liked the Babybug magazine. They are really high quality and Kaylee loves them. Numi is a great tea brand, so I was excited to receive the tea samples. Especially Rooibos – the flavor definitely invokes warm thoughts for me. The agave nectar and coconut sugar samples were small, but interesting. My husband has been wanted to try agave nectar for awhile so this is a great way to try it without buying a whole bottom of it. I’m also curious to try the coconut sugar. I like cooking with coconut oil, but didn’t realize that there was coconut sugar in the world. Definitely going to give it a try in my morning coffee. For the last sample, I really like Caldrea, but I wish they would do a different type of sample package. It makes it hard to use it more than once. But I didn’t realize they make a stain remover (and one specially for babies) so I’ll have to give this one a try too. Lord knows with a toddler I have no end to stains in my house. Overall, a pretty useful and fun box for us!
WHAT ARE MY FINALLY THOUGHTS?
I think Bluum Box is a fun and fairly inexpensive way to try new baby products. They recently upped the monthly price of their boxes. I hope this means more higher end samples. I probably wouldn’t pay $15 but if Kaylee was in the targeted 0-12 month range, I would be more inclined to do so. BUT, they seem to have vouchers and promotions often so if you are interested, keep an eye out.
