Holiday Gift Guide: Gorgeous Pink Lining Bags

Holiday Gift Guide: Gorgeous Pink Lining Bags

I am weak when it comes to cute bags.  I love having different bags for different occasions and reasons.  It is easy to find adorable purses for my items or cute little bags for a night out but sometimes it is hard to find a cute bag for family outings.  When the kids are with me, I need diapers, wipes, extra underwear for the potty trained, juice cups, snacks, my wallet, my phone, a camera, and various other things.  It has to big enough to fit all that but not too heavy and huge that it will be ackward to carry around.

Pink Lining is a British company that started out in a basement where the owner hand stitched bags for friends and has blossomed into a company that is seen worldwide.  They now have a US headquarters and launched at the ABC Expo in Las Vegas.

Pink Lining sent me one of their changing bags in my choice of pattern; I picked the Yummy Mummy Thistle and Dragonfly, and I am so glad I did because it looks even more beautiful in person than on the computer.  My husband thinks that it is a beautiful pattern and bag, also.  It is a cream colored bag with purple flowers and green and grey dragonflies.  The colors really pop out and are bright.  There are other patterns as well; the Yummy Mummy bag comes in Multicoloured Bows, Apple Tree, and Blue Bouquet.

There are lots of pockets and lots of room in this bag for everything.  There is the front pouch with the Yummy Mummy slogan and cupcake patch and on the sides are canvas pockets for bottles or cups.  There are both straps to hold the bag with your hand and an adjustable shoulder strap that can be adjusted nice and long.  The outside has a coating to keep it from soaking in water and liquids can just be wiped off.  I found out about that feature the first outing with the bag.  My drink was knocked over on top of the bag, and I was able to just wipe off the Coke without it soaking through or staining the bag.

Inside the bag, there are various pockets.  There are 2 insulated bottle pockets that are just the right size for sippy cups too.  There is a mobile phone pocket, diaper pocket, zip pocket for valuables, pen loop, and key fob.  The bag, also, included a removable mirror, padded water-resistant changing mat, and a zip wet bag.

I absolutely love this bag!  It’s big enough for everything without being too big.  The water-resistant outside and lining inside is perfect for a bag of this kind.  The bag feels sturdy and good quality; I expect it to last for a long time.  It fits over the handles of my stroller which is a must for me because I am always juggling 3 kids.  A lot of times I am carrying my youngest in my arms or in the carrier so I like the drape the diaper bag over the handles.  It is easy to find everything in the bag, which is a change from my bag before, where I couldn’t find what I was looking for without taking out half the contents of the bag.  The bottle/cup pockets are one of my favorite things about this bag; there will be no more turning over cups spilling everywhere.
